It came as no surprise that Madhur Bhandarkar wanted Kareena Kapoor to prepare for her role in his ambitious project Heroine. And one of the ideas he had in mind included studying Angelina Jolie’s outing in the award-winning TV film, Gia (1998).
However, Kareena wasn’t too keen. “He wanted Kareena to watch Gia because of Angelina’s performance. Although Bebo understands the character, the idea was to help her get a tighter grip on the intricacies. But she wanted to keep things natural,” says an insider.

Actor Imran Khan says he was nervous when he met Kareena Kapoor on the shoot of their untitled film but her simplicity floored him. Imran, whose 'Delhi Belly' opened on Friday, says he always wanted to work with Kareena.
"I always wanted to work with Kareena and when I met her on the sets of Dharma Production's untitled project it took me three-four days to adjust with the fact that I am working with her," Imran said.
