MUMBAI: The two month long standoff between multiplexes and Hindi film producers and distributors was finally called off late last night. Hindi films are slated to release across India from 12 June onwards. Producers are now finalising the release dates of the movies that have been ready for release but were held up due to the strike.
The first movie to hit screens will be Vashu Bhagnani and BIG Pictures' Kal Kissne Dekha on 12 June. The movie marks the debut of Jackky Bhagnani and Vaishali Desai and has been directed by Vivek Sharma.
Two weeks after that, Yash Raj Films will release Kabir Khan's New York on 26 June. New York stars John Abraham, Katrina Kaif, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Irrfan Khan.
