Before that she will be attending the premiere of Ra.One in London which releases in Diwali. “Diwali has always been very special for me. We enjoyed Diwali a lot when I was a kid. Also this is one festival when our family comes together so I always like to be home for Diwali. I have missed celebrating Diwali at home at times because of my tight schedule. Global recognition for our cinema is a good thing, but Los Angeles is too far. I would not like to go there. Besides, a lot of Hindi movies are watched by people abroad, so there is no point in doing two-bit roles in Hollywood films. People love the song and dance regime, so there is no need to do ‘their’ kind of films. Our body of work speaks for itself and language is not a barrier, so a global acceptance of our kind of movies will work better for Indian stars.
