After much delay the shooting for Madhur Bhandarkar's upcoming film Heroine finally started. Headlines Today witnessed the opening day shooting.

Kareena Kapoor looked excited about playing the Heroine!

"I am very nervous. It is the first day so... and excited. We will keep tweeting and posting you some nice pictures," Kareena said.

Having stepped into Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's shoes seems to be the most ambitious project in Kareena's career.

"I hope we nail this project. Me and Madhur are going to be working together and hope to make this one of the best in my career and also better than what Madhur has already made," Kareena said.

Bhandarkar, who had become a recluse post Aishwarya stepping down from the role, too seemed to be all chatty.

"I am very excited and it is the first day of shoot with Kareena," he said.

Interestingly, the look Kareena dons in the movie is almost similar to that of Aishwarya's.

While Heroine is Bhandarkar's most ambitious project, it also is a film that has made Kareena the most expensive actress in Bollywood.

In fact, Bhandarkar has even adhered to some of Kareena's demands like replacing Arunoday Singh with Randeep Hooda.
