With an impending wedding lined up for the next year and big-banner films in her kitty, actor Kareena Kapoor seems to be in the best phase of her life, both personally and professionally. “I’m happy that it has worked out very well for me,” says the actor, who will be seen opposite Salman Khan in her upcoming film Bodyguard.

“It is a great movie where I play the role of a simple girl, called Divya, who is full of innocence and fights for her love. I hope everyone loves the film,” she says, adding, “It was a sheer pleasure to work with Salman.”

Kareena is also working with other Khans — Shah Rukh in RA.One, Saif Ali in Agent Vinod, Aamir in Reema Kagti’s untitled project and Imran in Short Term Shaadi. Ask her how does it feel to work with all the Khans and pat comes the reply: “I am happy. It’s great if they feel that I can do justice to my roles.”

The actor is also excited about her Madame Tussauds wax statue which will be unveiled in October. “It is an absolute honour and the biggest thing in my life. I’m waiting for the moment when I will pose with it,” she says. So any look that’s decided for the same? “The look is final but I can’t talk about it” she says. She also clears the speculations about her debut on the small screen. “There is nothing happening at that front as I am busy with films,” she says.

Lastly, on being asked about her memories of late actor Shammi Kapoor (her grand father Raj Kapoor’s brother), she says, “There are so many fond memories of him. The entire Kapoor family wants to remember him as a cheerful person who was full of life... a very dynamic person.”
