Kareena Kapoor is envious of her boyfriend Saif Ali Khan for the strangest of reasons. You see, Saif Ali Khan is an avid reader and is even said to own a treasure trove of books at his home.

On the other hand, Kareena never really got into the habit of reading and regrets it now because she can’t measure up to her boyfriend’s bibliophilia.

You can’t deny that Kareena is one of the most honest and confident Bollywood actresses, besides being a strong contender for the number one slot. But, as fate would have it, Kareena stepped into movies at a rather young age and could never complete her graduation. Talking exclusively to Koimoi.com, Kareena confesses, “I wish I had read a little more because I really envy Saif as he reads so much. He reads such distinct books on religion and military history and lots of other stuff. I also should have gotten into the practice of reading since I was a kid. But that didn’t happen.” Nevertheless, Bebo is not one to brood over anything too long. She bounces back, “I love what I do.”

When quizzed a little more, Kareena reveals, “I don’t regret it (not completing grad school). Sometimes I wish I had focused a little more on my education when I was younger. College wasn’t actually that bad… I even enjoyed studying a little bit. But by the time I was 18 years old, I realized that this wasn’t something I wanted to do. I just wanted to dance around trees and enjoy!”

And she’s been dancing around the proverbial tree ever since, having delivered very good performances, besides doing commercially driven roles – think Chameli, Omkara and Jab We Met. Her next release is the comic-caper, Golmaal 3, releasing this Diwali.
