They share a long history of animosity. Kareena Kapoor and Bipasha Basu have always had cold vibes towards each other. But during IIFA in Colombo, Kareena forgot her past differences and personally invited Bipasha to a rather private party hosted by her and boyfriend Saif Ali Khan.

A lot of other celebs like Hrithik Roshan, Fardeen Khan, Vivek Oberoi and Jacqueline Fernandez were also invited at the party, but it was Kareena and Bipasha who were the centre of attention. The two ladies were pretty cordial towards each other and chatted about films and fashion.

Chatterati in B-town are seeing this as a burying of hatchet by the two actresses who have passed quite acerbic comments on each other in public. It’s no secret that Kareena called Bipasha’s beau John Abraham “expressionless” in a TV show. Later, Bipasha called Kareena as an actress “with too many expressions” on the same show.

A source tells us that Saif Ali Khan, who’s always remained a friend to Bipasha, was pivotal in changing Kareena’s attitude towards Bips. And once an olive branch was extended, even Bips couldn’t resist holding out a hand of friendship.
