Playing a mother in a film doesn’t necessarily mean donning saris or remaining covered from neck to ankle. Nah! Time is ripe to shed the Bollywood stereotype of a mom.

Trailblazing the trend would be B-town’s style icon Kareena Kapoor. She plays the mother of an eight-year-old child in Shahrukh Khan’s home production Ra.One in which SRK himself plays a superhero. And what a mom she’s set to be.

We hear Kareena will be dressed in uber-glamourous outfits including short dresses, skirts and figure hugging t-shirts. Her trusted designer Manish Malhotra has been roped in to style her look.

Manish says he plans to give Kareena a very mod look because the film is based in London. The movie will be directed by Anubhav Sinha.
