Apart from practicing a well-regulated diet and exercise regime, many women also prefer cosmetic surgery to facilitate the process. Delhi’s leading plastic surgeon Dr Amit Gupta of Divine Cosmetic Surgery, says, “A number of women have consulted me for such surgery in the past a few months. They wanted to get an absolutely fat-less look similar to that of Kareena Kapoor.”

Dr Gupta says with several hassle-free techniques available for cosmetic surgery these days, more and more people are now have a preference for such surgeries to get desired looks or get rid of many unwanted feature like scars, signs of ageing such as wrinkles, hanging fat bags on eyelids, and Tear Trough Deformity that is often visible through hollow crease below the eyes.

“Some of the procedures being used to give this look are procedures like buccal fat pad removal, and liposuction. Buccal fat pad removal is a short procedure, extremely delicate and gives the hollow look on the cheeks. In addition for the slender neck and sharp facial features, procedures like non surgical face lift and liposuction are used. Liposuction is a very safe procedure and it can often be done under local anesthesia. These procedures produce extremely satisfying results,” said Dr Gupta.

“Modern day procedures like botox and fillers injections are used to remove wrinkles and enhance lips. These are office procedures, and produce near instant results with minimum downtime. Fat injections can also be used for lip and breast enhancement. These produce more permanent results and use patients’ own fat

Among other procedures being demanded by young ladies are breast and hip augmentation. These can now be done virtually scarless using endoscopic techniques,” Dr, Gupta.

Dr Gupta, who has his clinic in South Extension, New Delhi says he is getting 3-4 such queries every month. “Many of them want to get a complete make over for whole body withtummy reduction and breast and hip augmentation,” he added.
