The actor, who hosted an awards function on Saturday night, was accused of avoiding Kareena that night. Stunned at the rumours, Shahid said, “Did I cross her? Believe me, I did not even realise it. When did this happen? I want to make it clear that Kareena and I have met on a couple of occasions and at a few social gatherings. She is very warm towards me and so am I. Things are cordial between us.”

He further explains, “There were so many people running around. If we missed each other, it’s just a coincidence and too much is being made out of it.”

But Shahid is not too hassled by the rumours. The actor, who won the Star Screen award for the Best Actor (popular choice) for his role in Kaminey, recently worked with Marty Kedulka — the choreographer of pop star Justin Timberlake. “Though it was tough to adapt their dancing style, I loved dancing with Marty,” he said.
