A Karan Johar presentation, the film starring Kareena and Kajol in lead roles is a remake of the 1998 hit Hollywood blockbuster Stepmom, starring Susan Sarandon and Julia Roberts. Karan seems to be all in for major reunions, as after pairing Shah Rukh and Kajol together in his highly ambitious directorial next My Name is Khan that releases next year, Kareena and Kajol too reunite after a gap of 10 years. Siddharth Malhotra’s last film was Bachna Ae Haseeno, which fared average at the BO, but he's sure that the remake of Stepmom and the electrifying combo of Kareena and Kajol will be a major crowd puller.
