“The director duo is incredibly fond of Kareena and would cast her in all their films if they could,” a source close to the pair says. They were also in a dilemma initially because of Bipasha Basu’s possible appearance in the sequel and her history with Bebo, which ironically had begun with Ajnabee. But Kareena assured everyone they had no issues anymore and she’d happily work with Bipasha. The two former rivals avoided having to act alongside each other, though, because Bips was killed off in the original and won’t be featured the sequel.

So far, Kareena has liked what she’s heard about the film from her directors, and is encouraging them to present the final draft soon so that she can get working as soon as possible. From one blockbuster to another, the race is on for Kareena.
