Every time they went to a restaurant, the duo would check and re-check ten times whether their food was hundred per cent vegetarian or not, in spite of being regulars at the restaurant. Kareena Kapoor had been a plump kid. Then she became impossibly thin for Tashan. Her meals were moderated and she couldn’t eat her favourite Chinese food. She made her weight issue a matter of national importance. The Kapoors are a family of actors and performers. But this Miss tried to do something else. She enrolled herself in a micro-computers course at Harvard University, and then she returned and tried her hand at a law degree. Needless to say and thankfully, the talented actress didn’t stick to it and instead, responded to Bollywood calling out for her. The rest, as they say, is history.
