Kareena Kapoor was sent a personal invite for the Paris Fashion Week by none other than fashion diva Christian Dior but unfortunately couldn't attend.
Says a source close to Kareena, "The fashion week had designer John Galliano captivate Dior's growing fan base of high profile, young, rich celebrity customers with an African-inspired collection.
The invite boasted exclusive front row seats. Besides Kareena, the guest list included pop singers Katy Perry and Lily Allen, actresses Emma Watson and Eva Green, who sat in the front row at the show with the likes of former supermodel, Stephanie Seymour, Oscar-winning French actress Marion Cotillard and burlesque star, Dita Von Teese."

Bollywood actor Kareena Kapoor Monday dismissed reports that she had turned a producer.
"I have no intentions to turn a producer. The rumours are baseless. There is no truth to it," the actor said in a statement here.

The man who brought Govinda back from oblivion with Partner has offered the eccentric Congress MP another role.
Salman starrer Main Aur Mrs Khanna will now also feature Govinda in a character called Nandu. The film also stars current Bollywood goddess Kareena and is expected to be one of 2009's big movies.
“He plays the role of marriage counselor and he tries to patch up between Salman and Kareena Kapoor," a friend of Govinda said, "Govinda and Salman are very close friends and during the partner shoot Salman bhai had approached Govinda for this role which he naturally agreed to do."

The much-publicised live concert tour Temptation Reloaded 2008, the brainchild of Shah Rukh Khan, is all set to kick start with a performance in Berlin on October 17. The live concert will move to Munich on October 18, Frankfurt on October 19 and Barcelona on October 20. The tour's grand finale will take place in Dubai on October 25.
SRK is not leaving any stone unturned to make it a grand tour. The latest on the tour is that Deepika Padukone and Bipasha Basu will now rub shoulders with SRK.
Katrina Kaif, Arjun Rampal and Anusha Dandekar are also part of the tour.
